Ambra

Ambra is a high-volume, efficient and economical system for the publication of quality-assured research in all areas of science. Ambra is a unique publishing forum that exploits the full potential of the web to make the most of every piece of research. Written mostly in Java, Ambra is a webapp that can be run compliant servlet containers.

Ambra information model is build using Topaz and stored in customized Mulgara and Fedora servers. Ambra also makes use of an external SSO server built on top of CAS. Ambra communicates with these different servers over TCP, thus enabling a distributed production environment.
